THE GROOM
Hello, lovely guests! I am Trevor, the man of the hour and the soon-to-be husband of the delightful Taffy.Â
Harare, Zimbabwe—my vibrant hometown—nurtured me. As the youngest boy in my family, I’ve been blessed with charm (or so they say!). The warmth of my loved ones and the rich Zimbabwean culture shaped my values: love, respect, and a hearty sense of humour. When I’m not busy making a difference, you’ll find me indulging in my passions. Whether it’s exploring the great outdoors or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, I thrive on adventure. And now, as our wedding day approaches, my heart races with excitement. Surrounded by cherished family and friends, we’ll celebrate our love and create memories that will echo through time.
Your presence and well-wishes are the icing on our wedding cake. Thank you for being part of this joyous occasion. Let’s raise our glasses to love, laughter, and a lifetime of shared adventures!
THE BRIDE
Hello everyone, I’m Taffy, the girl who’s always up for an adventure and has a heart for helping others, especially underprivileged children. As a bit of an introvert, I find solace in the quiet moments and cherish meaningful connections with loved ones.
One of my greatest passions is travelling, exploring new cultures, and experiencing the beauty of our world. I believe that every journey is an opportunity for growth and discovery.
When I’m not busy with my day-to-day rounds, you can find me enjoying long drives, soaking in scenic views, and appreciating the simple joys of life. I’ve always been the oldest child, grandchild, niece, cousin, etc., which has shaped me into the person I am today.
I’m looking forward to celebrating our love with all of you and creating unforgettable memories together. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
We are waiting for.....

Our Love Story
First Meet
10 August
Picture this: a beautiful wedding day, filled with love and laughter. We were both honoured to be part of Musa&Jona’s bridal team and little did we know, our lives were about to change forever.Enter Taffy, the bride’s friend and a ray of sunshine. She was kind, charming, and completely oblivious to my master plan unfolding. You see, from the moment, I knew she was someone special.Despite our best efforts to ignore these feelings, in the end, we just couldn’t resist the pull of fate. Our paths crossed, conversations flowed, and before we knew it, we are here today. What started as a chance encounter at a celebration blossomed into a beautiful love story, filled with laughter, adventures, and countless memories. And now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we are grateful for that serendipitous moment that brought us together.
First Date
4 September
Our first date was a delightful lunch that turned into an unforgettable day of togetherness. It all began at Brento’s, where we sat down to enjoy a meal and each other’s company. Little did we know, this spot would hold a special place in our hearts, as it sadly closed its doors permanently. As we sat across from each other, conversation flowed effortlessly, and we discovered shared interests, dreams, and values. It was clear that we had found something special in each other., and before we knew it, we had spent hours lost in laughter and shared stories. However, our time at Brento’s ended as it closed at 4:30 pm. Undeterred, we decided to continue our date and explore more of our budding connection. We ventured to another charming spot for dinner, where we continued our conversations and shared even more laughs. The day was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and a deepening connection that would set the foundation for our story. What began as a simple lunch date turned into an entire day of connection and laughter, marking the beginning of our beautiful journey together
Proposal
4 September
Our proposal story is one filled with surprises and a little bit of football magic. It all started with a plan that involved a few white lies to ensure Taffy wouldn’t suspect a thing.I chose a beautiful villa as the setting for our special moment, where we enjoyed a private 7-course meal to celebrate us. The plan was to eat before the proposal because I wasn’t sure of Taffy’s reaction after such an ask.As fate would have it, the proposal took place on a day when Manchester United had triumphed over Arsenal with a score of 2-1. It was a good omen for us, and as I got down on one knee, I knew in my heart that this was it.And Yes she Said Yes!
Roora Day
23 December
In Zimbabwean culture, the roora ceremony is a cherished tradition that symbolises the union of two families and the celebration of love. It is a time-honoured custom that holds a deep significance in our hearts. Our families came together to bless our union and exchange pleasantries as a symbol of love, respect, and commitment, honouring our heritage and culture. It was a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity, reflecting our values and the love we have for each other. Our roora was not just a celebration of our love, but also a tribute to our families and the traditions that bind us together. It was a day filled with excitement, laughter, and the promise of a lifetime of happiness together.
